Career Start is currently seeking a 2^nd shift Production Operator in Baldwinsville, NY. To be considered for this position, preferred candidates will have previous experience in a food manufacturing environment.

Production Operator will be responsible for the inspection and packaging of finished product.

Shift: Monday through Friday 3 pm to 11 pm or End of Shift

Pay of Production Operator:

• $17 to $19/hr based on experience

• Complete pre-flight checklists.
• Operate equipment and take corrective actions to ensure adequate product flow to the line.
• Package products to meet specified quantity requirements.
• Inspect finished products before packing; stop the line and notify the line supervisor of any discrepancies.
• Accurately check, complete, and sign all appropriate paperwork and documentation legibly.
• Maintain raw packaging materials staged, in use, and returned in compliance with plant quality, GMP, safety, and sanitation policies.
• Participate in and contribute to company-designated training programs periodically required to enhance safety, quality, cost, or job performance.
• Maintain reliable attendance, including working overtime as needed.
• Inform the supervisor of any process deviations immediately to obtain and follow proper actions.

• Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment
• High School Diploma or GED
