Career Start is currently seeking a Millwork Installer in Rochester, NY with expertise installing custom fabricated product ie. Kitchens, Bars, Closets, etc.

You will be responsible for installing custom woodwork and cabinetry in both residential and commercial settings. You’ll work closely with project managers and shop staff to ensure accurate, high-quality installations that meet customer expectations and design specifications.

Shift: Monday through Friday – 8 am to 5 pm (Can be flexible on shift times)

Pay/Benefits of Millwork Installer:

• $22 to $30/hr depending on experience

Responsibilities of Millwork Installer:

• Install custom millwork, cabinets, trim, and other wood products according to plans and layouts
• Overall responsibility for the on-site management of installation
• Measure, align, and fit components with precision
• Collaborate with team members and clients on-site to complete installations
• Ensure the finished product is clean, level, and professionally presented
• Troubleshoot and resolve fit or finish issues during installation
• Maintain a clean and safe worksite at all times

Requirements of Millwork Installer:

• At least 3 years of relevant experience

• Ability to read blueprints/layouts and follow installation instructions.
• Must have a working knowledge of basic materials such as wood, plastic laminates, solid surfaces, particle board, MDF, etc.
• Carpentry knowledge such as installation of roll outs, accessories, cabinet doors, glides, and hardware.
